Fight. Level. Survive. 22 days on Amazon.

It’s a weird feeling seeing a book you wrote on Amazon. Even weirder when you’re holding a physical copy in your hands. There’s this moment where it stops being just a file on your computer or a story in your head and becomes a real thing that people can read. That’s still sinking in for me.

So far, Fight. Level. Survive. has been doing pretty well, and I’m honestly happy with its performance. It’s been hovering between # 1500 and # 2500 on Amazon’s Best Sellers list, which means people are actually buying and reading it (wild, right?). As of now, it has 226 ratings and 11 reviews, some of which are less than glowing, but hey—not every book is for everyone. Some people just have bad taste, and that’s okay.

The Rollercoaster of Book Rankings

Publishing a book is equal parts exciting and terrifying because, suddenly, everything feels like a numbers game. How many copies sold today? What’s my rank? How’s my KU page count? It’s easy to get obsessed with checking stats (and I totally have).

That said, I’m still figuring out how all this actually works. Kindle Unlimited seems to be a big factor in how the book is ranking, and I can see that a lot of people are reading it that way. If you’re one of them, thank you! Every page read helps keep the book visible, and it means a lot.

On Audible, things are a little slower, but I’m still really proud of how the audiobook turned out. Adam Stubbs, my narrator, absolutely crushed it, and he really brought the characters to life. If you’re into audiobooks and haven’t checked it out yet, Whispersync lets you grab it for cheap if you already own the Kindle version.

(Not-so-subtle hint: Please leave a review 🙏🏻)

What’s Next?

Right now, I’m elbow-deep into writing Book 2, which is both exciting and slightly terrifying. There’s definitely a little pressure now that people have read the first one, but I think the sequel is shaping up to be bigger, better and funnier than the first. But only time will tell!

I’m also trying to figure out ways to get more people to discover the book, maybe i'll try dipping my toes into bookTok (If i can get over the awkwardness of talking to a camera)

If you’ve read Fight. Level. Survive. And enjoyed it. Spreading the word helps more than you know. Seriously, every review, rating, and random “Hey, you should check this out” to a friend makes a difference.

A Massive Thank You

To everyone who has supported Fight. Level. Survive. So far—whether by reading, reviewing, recommending it to a friend, or just laughing at the crack-addicted chicken monsters—I can’t thank you enough. It’s been insane watching people actually read and enjoy something I wrote.

If you’ve finished the book, I’d love to hear what you think—what did you love? What do you want more of in Book 2? Drop a comment, send a message, or leave a review. I read them all, even the brutal ones.

And if you haven’t read it yet? Well, get to it!
